Different kinds of concrete
If we say concrete, you imagine sand, cement, stones and water, right? Yes, but that’s not all. We distinguish numerous types of concrete, in particular according to the production technology, additives and additional mixtures or missing fractions. In Švec beton, we have the knowledge about technologies, like casted, sprayed, lightened concrete or UHPC or terrazzo. We can now also make graphic concrete.
When using this technology for a concrete of a 40+ mm thickness, it has also an iron or composite reinforcement. That ensures good tensile strength, standardly low for concrete. When casting tiling, a distributed reinforcement is necessary at the depth of 20 mm.

Sprayed concretes represent a special mixture of concrete, adjusted so they stay at a vertical base as well. By the use of special device, they are laid to moulds of more complicated shapes. This technology allows the product width by 20 mm with the use of a distributed reinforcement. Most frequently used distributed reinforcement are glass or polypropylene fibres.

A dominant property of lightened concrete is its weight in particular. Volumetric weight below 1,800 kg/m3 ensures concrete light weight. That means that it’s markedly lighter that casted concrete. Its composition is similar as in case of other types of concrete, except for stones that are substituted by a light keramzit.

Ultra high performance concrete. Developed for the most demanding cases. It is a mixture in which we carefully monitor all the proportions of their ingredients and admixtures, which in the event of a small error can result in the disintegration of the product. These concretes achieve a compressive strength well above 150 MPa. This material can be used to make thin products of the highest quality.

Marble crushed stone in different colours and dimensions. This surface is very well known. We can produce it with any shape you need. You can choose the proportion of colours and dimensions of marble. By an accurate grinding of surface, we’ll achieve the required structure. High-quality materials, tested by generations.

Our Graphic Concrete technology uses two different concrete structures. The first structure is concrete as we know it. The second structure is washed out thanks to the solidification retardant. With this technology, we are able to draw any shapes on the concrete surface. Graphic concrete technology is suitable for exposed walls, suspended facades or interior elements. We can print a logo, inscription or even a picture into concrete.
