Self-supporting concrete stairs with edge thickness of only 7 cm. How’s that possible? Due to the bearing structure in the middle of staircase arm. From this 25 x 25 cm bearing structure, triangular planes spread by edges. This sophisticated system of narrowing was designed by MgA. Přemysl Kokeš. We constructed staircase for 55 days and installed it without the need of heavy machinery. Let’s evaluate it on your own, we like it very much.
