Concrete bowls for BASF

Concrete bowls, we produced for your company, worked as an original Christmas gift for your customers. How did they like it?

Following their reactions, it seems that we have found a proper gift. Bowls are a marketing item, representing not only our brand – Master Builders Solutions – but also the concrete alone. They demonstrate how good it may look like and that it may improve any interior.

Czechs like concrete, it has become a popular part of their houses. Is it the main reason why you decided to choose these concrete bowls?

Yes, I believe it was the main reason we chose this marketing item. This bowl is a thing that each person would like to have on its table and see it all the time. It will remind him about the unique nature of this material. I feel it in the same way and I am in concrete industry for almost 20 years now. It has never become boring to me.

What about you and concrete? Do you use it at home?

Of course. I would be a bad merchant if I could not sell it to my home. Moreover, concrete is not only something raw and cold, it’s not only a construction material. It may beautiful. Depends on the fact how you process it and what are you going to do from it.

BASF company sells special construction chemicals from which high-strength UPHC concrete is made. These unique bowls were made rights from such concrete. And what’s the situation for UPHC in the Czech Republic? Is there any interest therein?

Yes, for sure. It’s a concrete of future. I like to watch the development in concrete industry, moving forward each year. UPHC concrete is a challenge for designers and architects as there are numerous opportunities how to use it in construction industry.

There’s always something happening in construction industry. Are you planning any new thing this year?

We have few news in the construction of transporbeton (transport concrete) – we are introducing another generation of MasterEase products to the market. They are designed for industrial floors. Then e.g. new types of macrofibres. MasterFiber – these are special demoulding emulsions, environmentally friendly.
